Tour De France.... Some photos

We were watching Tour de France when the cyclists went through Kent. 189 cyclist zipped passed us in 10 seconds and all went through in a flash. Hard to believe... watch out the video. Also dancing girls with good music on the high street. Increase the volume of your computer and enjoy the music and dance.

Tips

  • Did you know that you should not peel the potatoe skins. You loose all the nutrients.
  • Slice the onion into two and wash it and then cut it. It will not hurt your eyes.

Chicken Masala - Indian Receipe

Ingredients

  • 750 gms chicken pieces
  • 1 teaspoon of Chill Powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 3 tablespoon yogurt
  • Salt, as per taste
  • 4 chopped onions
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 chopped tomatoes.
Receipe

Marinate 750 gms chicken pieces with 1 teaspoon of Chill Powder.
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 3 tablespoon yogurt and salt.

Keep for 1 hour. Fry till crip, 4 chopped onions in 4 tablespoon oil. Add 3 chopped green chillies, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and 3 teaspoon Everest Chicken Masala. Fry for 1 min. Add marinated chichen and 4 chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle coriander leaves.

Cook for 10 minutes.

Oven Baked Fish with soup/salad

Ingredients

  • One Fish (Cod/Mackerel/Herring/)
  • Green Chilles – 1 to 2 depending on preferred heat
  • Ginger ( 1 inch piece)
  • Garlic 1 -2 cloves
  • Tamarind paste, if not available use lemon juice or vinegar
  • Salt – as per taste

Procedure:

  1. Clean the fish thoroughly, place 3 to 4 slits on each side. Add salt and leave it aside for 5 to 10 minutes
  2. Grind Green chillies, Ginger, Garlic, Tamarind and salt with some water to make a paste
  3. Wash the fish with water to remove the salt and dry with kitchen towel.
  4. Add paste into the slit of the fish first and spread along the entire length of the fish. Leave to marinate for 15 – 30 minutes
  5. Meanwhile prepare a tray – cover it with aluminum foil. Leave a little fold of aluminum foil on one side to cover the fish.
  6. Place the fish on the tray.
  7. Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius for 15 minutes
  8. Place tray in the oven for 25 minutes. Monitor the fish to see if it is cooked. If not, leave it for a little longer.
  9. Take it out from oven and it is ready to eat.


Preferred drink with Oven Baked Fish

White Wine or Champagne

Serve it Salad or Soup of your choice and make it a healthy meal.
